Aussies to get their twerk as Miley Cyrus tours Australia in October

Miley Cyrus is bound to bring her usual dose of shock value to Australian stages when she tours Australia later this year.

If you are not a fan of the twirking-tongue-wagging-scantily-clad-post-teen best you find a cave somewhere in the Outback around October 2014.  If you don’t, consider yourself warned, the pop diva will make news occupying endless streams of Twitter and Facebook feeds.

Cyrus’s Bangerz tour will make landfall on 10 October in Melbourne followed by Brisbane on 15 October, Sydney on 17 October, Adelaide on 20 October and Perth on 23 October.  Tickets will range from $99.90 to $149.90.

The show promises to be entertaining with logic defying stunts as she flashes flesh (and that infamous tongue — which should have a fan club all of its own it seems…)

But don’t expect that this will be a performance for your Hannah Montana loving pre-teen.  She once suggested a raunchy act with a dancer covered in Bill Clinton mask, kneeling before him while singing. She also kissed a dancer, dove her face in a blond woman’s colossal bosom, spread her legs in front of the audience, and stuck her tongue out while projecting an erotic pose. She also performed while riding an enormous hotdog…

But good old Miley is one of the believers of the school of thought that any and all publicity is good publicity so who knows what awaits Australian fans.  One thing is as sure as death and taxes it will be an entertaining show and people WILL be talking about it.
