Snake Island is a region that is of real historical significance after soldiers heroically lost their lives while fighting against the Russians. They will be honored for fearlessly fighting the Russians on Snake island. This will be with a Hero of Ukraine award as reported by the Guardian.

Snake Island bombed with 13 soldiers

Since the invasion took place, the news has consistently been negative on where Ukraine stands with Russia. It is safe to say that Russia and Ukraine are no longer allies but enemies in war. President Zelensky has currently joined the military in battle.

As previously reported, Russian troops invaded Ukraine by land, sea, and air. The Russian president informed the people about this attack in a pre-recorded address. And many other countries have since shared their disgust with his decision to use violence.

Soldiers will be honored with a Hero of Ukraine award

The audio exchange finds the Russian soldiers asking the Ukrainian soldiers to put down their weapons or they will suffer the consequences thereof. The Ukrainian soldier then responds by saying: “go f***k yourself Russian warship”.

All 13 soldiers were killed on Snake Island and President Zelensky has expressed his wishes to have all these men be awarded a Hero of Ukraine award. These men have fearlessly lost their lives while protecting Ukrainian territory.

Other countries disagree with Putin’s decision

Many media outlets have published the audio between the Russian soldier and the Ukrainian soldier on Snake Island. This moment is no doubt bittersweet as it shows their bravery but also a fight that could have been stopped.
