Royal Wedding 2018: Who will be in the formal wedding party on the big day?

It's not clear if Meghan Markle will have a maid of honor or if her dad will even show up!

People are super excited for the upcoming nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on 19 May. While Prince Harry chose his brother, Prince William to be his best man, it is not clear if Meghan will have a maid of honour on her special day.

There was little doubt that Prince Harry would’ve eventually asked his brother, Prince William to be his best man. But for Meghan, it seems her mother will be at her side until she arrives at Windsor and walks down the aisle.

According to reports, Meghan will not have a maid of honour. Rather, all of her bridal attendants will reportedly be children. The Palace did not release the names of the bridesmaids and pageboys yet, though it’s believed that both Prince George and Princess Charlotte will have roles in the wedding.

There’s a long history of royal children participating in family weddings, and according to Kensington Palace “this wedding will be guided by tradition”.

It was also reported that Meghan’s parents will have important roles in the wedding, but recent reports state Meghan’s father may not attend the ceremony following a paparazzi scandal.

Her mother, Ms Doria Ragland, will hopefully still travel with Meghan by car to Windsor Castle.
