Kalen reacts to Aussie foods: Vegemite, Tim Tams and fairy bread [WATCH]

Is lockdown exercise really that essential? Not according to this stubborn Aussie pooch who is the star of this funny dog video.

This clip of Elsie the golden retriever and her loyal person, Mike Cook, going for a walk (of sorts) went viral this week, with over 50 million views on Facebook and more than two million on Tik Tok.

In the video taken by Kayla Evans, the dog and her man are seen on the streets of Queensland’s Gold Coast going for their permitted daily coronavirus-lockdown essential exercise. But Elsie decides she has had enough and flatly refuses to go any further, playing dead as if she is stuck to the footpath with glue.

Faithful, and increasingly frustrated, Mike tries everything: the pull, the pick up and turn, the walk away. But this girl ain’t for movin’.

what would you do if this was your dog? 😂🤣 #petlife #dog #foryou #foryoupage #learningtodog

According to the ABC, Ms Evans and her friends were in hysterics. While poor old Mike had to resign himself to ending the outing and heading for home… to where Elsie ran, of course.
