Trevor Strnad: Vocalist of The Black Dahlia dies at the age of 41

The vocalist who aimed at expressing his truth through heavy metal has sadly passed away. Details about his death has not been revealed.

Trevor Strnad was one of the most influential artists in the world of rock. His untimely death comes as a shock to many as the band planned on doing a show in May. 

The sudden loss of Trevor Strnad

Thus far, there are no details surrounding his death has not been shared yet. But, his bandmates did share the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number along with the announcement. 

To many, Trevor Strnad was the most influential and extremely educated in the world of music. For frustration reasons, Trevor sought to use music as a medium for expressing hardships.

At the moment, the only thing that seems evident is that his death has been a suicide. However, this is yet to be confirmed by his bandmates and family members. 

As the pandemic hit, Trevor has been very open about how it impacted him. He relayed that being with his thoughts most of the time had a negative impact on him. 

Opening up about depression

When talking about his music and culture, Trevor Strnad expressed that many people do not understand their culture. He also sought to be a testament to others going through a difficult time by opening up about depression. 

“I feel like the average person doesn’t see the merit in our culture and our world and doesn’t see how passionate we are, how it gives us so much life.

Over the past two years, the world has lost a number of outstanding good musicians. This now includes Trevor Strnad who has been part of The Black Dahlia for 20 years so far.

According to Page Six, Trevor Strnad and his band were scheduled to perform at the Rockville Festival in the coming week. They were also meant to perform sometime in August. 

Right now, details surrounding these concerts is yet to be confirmed as his untimely death will impact the groups performing schedules.
