Melbourne vs Essendon kicked off their match and it is proving to be a memorable one indeed. Tex Wanganeen made his debut in the AFL and has made quite the impression.

Tex Wanganeen makes his debut in the AFL in Melbourne vs Essendon match

As reported by Herald Sun, Tex Wanganeen made his first debut last week with the Brisbane Lions. During this match, Tex didn’t exactly get to play as he was on the bench as a substitute.

Right now, many fans, as well as other players, are a bit upset with how much attention Tex Wanganeen is getting. This comes as he hasn’t really played for the season but is being credited with playing AFL after the Melbourne vs Essendon match.

Gavin Wanganeed steals hearts all over with his reaction to the goal

While this may be the case, Gavin Wanganeen could not contain his excitement when his son scored his first goal in the AFL. It was an incredibly sweet moment for fans all over.

Just as Tex Wanganeen scored his first goal, his father jumped up from his seat in excitement and quickly turned his head towards the big screen for a replay of his son’s goal in the Melbourne vs Essendon match.

Thus far, Tex Wanganeen has spent absolutely no time on the field following his recent victory in surpassing a player. While this might be impressive, others think that he cannot be credited with playing AFL.

During the game, many comments flooded as the excitement burst on the field. Now, Luke Hodge also had something to say about the match at hand.
