Former PM tragically dies after being shot

Right now, many tributes have flown with the current Prime Minister in great disbelief over the news. Previously, PM Kishida expressed that he hopes Abe recovers from his injury.

“I have great respect for the legacy Shinzo Abe left behind and I pay the deepest condolences to him,”

Thus far, no motives have been identified except for the shooter admitting that he wanted to kill the former Prime Minister Abe.

Right now, The Guardian reports that the suspect did not attempt to flee the scene after he shot Shinzo Abe. The former PM suffered fatal injuries with one bullet shot in his neck. So far, the suspect is reported to have worn grew trousers with grey trainers and a surgical mask.

Presently, Shinzo Abe is reported to have bled to death after suffering two deep wounds. He reportedly passed on at approximately 5:03 pm on Friday.

So far, the police have found some remains of a homemade gun that was used by the Nara resident. Since Japan’s laws for obtaining a gun is extremely strict, this made it impossible for the killer to obtain one.
