Dannii Minogue and Kylie Minogue - X Factor judges

Kylie Minogue believes her sister has done an amazing job since joining the Australian version of X factor last year and give the UK programme a much needed lift.

Dannii Minogue was on the UK panel from 2007 to 2010, and now Kylie – who is about to start her stint as a judge on The Voice Australia – is urging music mogul Simon Cowell to put Dannii Minogue back on The X Factor judging panel.

Kylie was reported saying, “She’s got better and better and this year, in the words of (X Factor UK Judge) Louis Walsh, she nailed it! So yes, I would like to see her back.”

Simon Cowell is currently making the final decision as to who would join the judging panel alongside him this year, with Cheryl Cole – who was on the show from 2008 to 2010 – also believed to be a front runner.

Kylie Minogue was also quoted by The Sun newspaper saying, “I think I’m with the whole country when I say the show has been missing her and Simon and Cheryl. It would be very exciting to see them back.”

In his 2012 auobiography Simon admitted to having an affair with Dannii, and this could boost rating as well as recreate the on-screen chemistry between the two.

Even though Simon welcomed his first child, Eric, into the world over the weekend with his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, and Dannii has a three-year-old son, Ethan, with her ex-boyfriend, Kris Smith, sensation never takes the high road.

It has not yet been confirmed when Simon will release the names of his final choices, but if Kylie has anything to do with it, Dannii will grace our screens once again.
