Eight rules of strong relationships

The beginning of a relationship is always exciting.

Two people are attracted to each other and more affectionate while their relationship is growing. Everything that is connected with a new relationship is always romantic and exciting.

However, difficult work begins as soon as their relationship becomes more strong. Are long, happy and harmonious relations possible? What do you have to do? Such a question arises regardless of whether you live together for many years or you are on the verge of living together. These 8 simple rules will help you in maintaining your relationship.

1. Respect

Respect each other. You can be completely different: you may have different interests and life principles, religion, the level of education and income. Learn and discover something new from your second half. Respect is the basis of friendship and long and lasting relationships are impossible without it.

2. Sex

Physical intimacy is more than just obligation in any long-term relationship. This is important for maintaining a healthy emotional connection. The physical act of love is that two people share. As a rule, it is easy enough to cause this physical connection at the beginning of a relationship. But work, money, children etc. complicate people’s intimate relationships over time.

There shouldn’t be barriers and restrictions in the sexual sphere between loving people. Don’t hide your desires, ask about the desires of a partner, and give each other pleasure. Sex is an integral part of harmonious relationships.

3. Responsibility

If you want to have a bright, long relationship, you must learn to understand your obligations and responsibility.

First of all, you need to learn to be aware of things that lead to disharmony in a relationship.

Secondly, you don’t need to take responsibility for something that you can’t control. For example, the promise “I promise to love you forever” is impossible. There are moments in life when you don’t love even yourself. Love is a mystery. It can’t be subordinated only to your will. In this case, it’s better to say about your feelings at the moment.

4. Confidence

Trust your partner. Don’t turn into Sherlock Holmes and don’t check pockets and phone of you second half every minute. Both of you will get tired of it quickly.

Anything may happen, even betrayal. And if the fact of betrayal is proven, think about whether you can forgive a partner without poisoning your and her life with constant suspicions. If you decide to stay together, then trust your partner.

5. Good feelings

Give love and affection to your half. Smile at each other. Severely shifted eyebrows or constantly unhappy expression of your face will scare anyone. If you love somebody – show it. Affectionate words and touches are needed to an adult. And if you are going to live together long and happily life, then don’t forget about it.

6. Positive

Be optimistic! Much depends on our thoughts and in relationships as well. Smile, try to notice good things in everything and give your half positive emotions. It is very important to tell your partner about what you like about this relationship. If you think your woman is attractive, just tell her about it.

7. Compromises

Two different people have two different points of view. Sometimes you should be thoughtful and sensitive to another person. If you don’t know why your partner thinks or acts like that, just try to figure it out.

8. Love

Love is the most important component of harmonious relations. You can overcome quarrels and disagreements, irritability and fading of passion if there is love between you. Love each other and live happily!
