Camille Vasquez cross-examines Amber Heard after one week break

Amber Heard took to the stand for the third time on Monday. This time, she was cross-examined by Jonny Depp’s Lawyer, Camille Vasquez.

Camille Vasquez has made sure to grill Amber Heard on claims that she was physically abused by Johnny Depp. On Monday, the lawyer trended as she probed Amber for answers.

Now, in the trial so far, Amber Heard has testified that Johnny Depp allegedly physically and sexually abused her before and during their marriage. 

According to NBC, Amber Heard shared that she was sexually assaulted by Johnny Depp with a bottle which then ensued in bleeding from the bottle. 

Thus far, Camille Vasquez grilled Amber Heard on multiple claims that she has made so far and one moment, in particular, caused Camille to repeatedly reiterate her question to Heard. 

7 million divorce settlement 

During the cross-examination, Camille Vasquez asked Amber Heard if she paid her 7 million dollars which she got from her divorce settlement to the charities she said she would pay to.

In response, Amber Heard told Camille Vasquez that she pledged to pay the amounts to the charities. At the time of her divorce settlement. 

For a good few minutes, Amber Heard danced around the question. Until she eventually admitted to Camille Vasquez that she did not pay the charities as she said she would. She further stated that Johnny “sued me” and that’s why she couldn’t pay what was due.

Furthermore, Amber shared that her role in Aquaman two was severely reduced. This comes as a result of the court case she is facing at present.

While opening up about why she filed for divorce, Amber told her attorney that she feared for her life. She was scared that she eventually would end up dead if she didn’t.
