Ways to perfectly accessorize your chiffon dress for an Australian Summer

A chiffon dress is the perfect piece of clothing to wear when you want to look feminine, fun and flirty without worrying about layering too many clothes or going out in the chilly air.

If you love wearing chiffon dresses but hate their lack of coverage, don’t worry! With the right accessories, you can show off your figure and look great in your favourite dress this summer in Australia.

However, it’s important to accessorize your outfit with the right pieces to make it stand out. In this guide on how to perfectly accessorize your chiffon dress, we’ll teach you how to do just that! Here are five ways to perfectly accessorize your chiffon dress for an Australian summer if you are looking for the perfect way to accentuate your fabulous chiffon dress this summer.

1) Layer It Up With Delicate Jewelry

Chiffon is a light and airy fabric, making it the perfect choice for summer dresses. But how do you take your chiffon dress from day to night? Or beach to bar? By accessorizing it with the right jewellery, of course! Slip on a pair of large hoop earrings and layer on delicate necklaces like pearl strands or beaded chains.

2) Pick Something That Goes With The Shoes

When it comes to summer dressing, comfort is key. And what’s more comfortable than a pair of slides? Whether you’re headed to the beach or just running errands, a pair of slides will perfectly complement your chiffon dress.

3) Pair It With A Bag

A straw bag is the perfect summertime accessory to pair with your chiffon dress. Not only will it add a pop of colour, but it will also keep your belongings safe and secure while you’re out and about. A lightweight straw bag won’t weigh you down in the heat. Invest in one that’s light-coloured or neutral to match everything.

Keep your accessories light and breezy as well! Consider a lightweight scarf or some dangling earrings that are easy to move around when you need them.

4) Keep Make-Up Simple

When it comes to make-up, less is more when trying to beat the heat. A light BB cream or CC cream, some waterproof mascara and a pop of lip colour are all you need to look fresh and put together. And don’t forget the sunscreen!

Even though we have a little more time before UV rays are intense enough to warrant using SPF50+, ensure you’re wearing at least SPF15+ on your face and body daily. If your chiffon dress doesn’t have sleeves, throw on a cute cardigan to cover up the late afternoon downpours we get here in Australia during summertime!

5) Cover Up With Accessories

The Australian summer heat can sometimes be unbearable, so it’s important to have a few key accessories on hand to help you keep cool. A pretty scarf or sarong can do double duty as a fashion statement and a way to keep the sun off your shoulders. A wide-brimmed hat is another must-have; it will protect your face from harmful UV rays and keep you from getting too hot.
