Tom Parker was part of the boy band called The Wanted. They have established themselves by having two hit singles which include Glad you came.  Sadly, the band has now lost its lead singer.

Unfortunately, since his tumor diagnosis, it was made known that it was inoperable.

Tom Parker suddenly dies

In an Instagram post, the wife of the late Tom Parker shared that he had an “infectious smile and energetic presence.” His bandmates have also shared their grief at the loss of their member.

“Words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts.”

The Wanted

In 2021, Tom Parker shared that his condition was stable and that he was responding well to the treatment which took the form of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.  However, his condition suddenly deteriorated.

Hope memoir to be released in July

Just months before his passing, Tom Parker fronted a documentary that followed his life post his cancer diagnosis. He shared that he didn’t want to focus on his brain tumor and instead live his life without thinking about it.

Thus far, Tom had actually had a memoir he wrote called hope in which he details his experience of living with brain cancer. His memoir is set to be released in July this year as reported by The Guardian.

Since The Wanted’s hiatus in 2014, Tom Parker could finally reunite with his band members and was able to perform on select nights from a throne on stage.
