Spiderhead: Following Chris Hemsworth as an abusive scientist

Spiderhead is something one might watch if you’re just a general fan of Chris Hemsworth or you just love the idea of an experiment. Rest assured it’s not a waste of time.

Experimenting with the concept of free will

Thus far, Chris Hemsworth plays the Scientist who is experimenting on a group of prisoners. All of these prisoners have some traumatic experience for which they are jailed for.

To Steve Abnesti played by Chris Hemsworth, this is a perfect opportunity to use drugs and experiment on the different prisoners. For the prisoners, this is a much better place than the one they would have been in before, so why not stay?

To date, Spiderhead takes every emotion one might feel and incorporates it into a drug. Abnesti, uses these drugs to control the individuals and see how this affects their brain.

In one instance, a drug administered into a device connected to the back of the guinea pigs will prompt them to do certain things depending on which drug is triggered.

Spiderhead delves into experiments gone too far

While this experiment started as a reason to change the world and help people, Steve’s partner Mark is the only person who actually sees clearly in this mess that has been created.

According to Digital Spy, Spiderhead sees Abnesti triggering bad emotions in one participant which ultimately leads her to kill herself. Mind you, this woman is someone Jeff really cares about.

Quite frankly, the power of everyone’s emotions lies in Abnesti’s hands. This is ultimately dangerous as eahc drug triggers happiness, sadness, depression, as well as anger.

To cut a long story short, Spiderhead depicts feeding into a bad idea that turns into a beast. This beast then eventually succumbs to his own manipulations, and by beast I mean Abnesti.
