THE harvest season is in full swing throughout country Western Australia. In this photo, the sun sets over a silo in a wheat paddock at Gorya Downs, a farm in the south-east region of WA. With a thunder storm in the distance, the air was still and warm. A perfect evening to be harvesting, and a perfect evening to appreciate being out on the land. Just 50 kilometres north-east of the coastal town of Esperance, the 3330 hectare farm has been producing wheat and barley since the mid to late 1960s, and canola and peas thereafter.
