Glenn Wheatley, known as one of Australia’s popular musicians has died at the age of 74. According to news.com.au, Glenn died alongside his family. His two daughters, his wife, and his son were with him in his last minutes.

Early on in his life, Glenn Wheatley was notorious for mortgaging his home in order to fund Farnhams 1986 album which paid off in the end. Farnham’s album, Whispering Jack, had topped the charts for 25 weeks.
In addition, Glenn was responsible for managing the Little River Band. This band went on to achieve multi-platinum sales in the US. They were the first group to achieve this.
While Glenn Wheatley was successful in his own career, he also spent some time in jail. He pleaded guilty to charges of tax evasion in 2007.

According to news.com.au, Glenn died surrounded by his family. He was hospitalized for several weeks and had been seriously ill. Before passing, Glenn faced some complications with his Covid-19 infection.
