Geordie Shore asked me to be in sex scene, says Aussie model

Reality television franchises have collided in Sydney with former Australia’s Next Top Model contender Madeline Huett claiming that producers of British hit Geordie Shore invited her to participate in a threesome with one of the show’s cast members while filming its upcoming Australian season.

REALITY television franchises have collided in Sydney with former Australia’s Next Top Model contender Madeline Huett claiming that producers of British hit show Geordie Shore invited her to participate in a threesome with one of the show’s cast members while filming its upcoming Australian season.

Huett, a participant in the 2011 season of Australia’s Next Top Model, claims that a “researcher” for the MTV show approached her at a party two weeks ago and asked whether she would like to be involved in the program when it began filming earlier this month. Huett said that the researcher, who has not been named, then suggested that she engage in a sex act with Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle.

Huett said: “I felt humiliated. This guy came up to me and told me he was bringing the Geordie Shore crew out to Australia and asked if me and a friend would have a threesome with Gaz. We were at my boss’s house who owns No Vacancy nightclub and we got chatting. He said he was going to bring the cast to the club and asked if I would pose as their head waitress.

“He said, ‘Would you f*** Gary?’. Then he said, ‘You’d have to do it on camera though’ and said me and my friend should have a threesome with him on camera. I told him no way.”

Geordie Shore, the British version of American program Jersey Shore, premiered in 2011 and recently finished screening its fifth season in the UK. The reality TV show focuses on the hard-partying antics of a group of young adults from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in England’s north-east.

Beadle, an original cast member of the program, is notorious for his sexual proclivities and is typically perceived as the Geordie Shore participant that is most successful with the opposite sex. He and fellow cast member Scott Timlin regularly refer to themselves as the ‘Buck Squad’, and openly declare their interest in sleeping with as many women as possible while on the program.

Huett said that the Geordie Shore researcher who suggested that she sleep with Beadle attempted to convince her to participate in the program by boasting about the reality star’s reputed sexual prowess. Her claims come only weeks after Sydney barmen Iain McDonald and Luke Bridgman told of how they were ‘scouted’ by producers to be extras in the Geordie Shore party scenes.

An MTV spokesperson would not comment on Huett’s claims, however confirmed that Geordie Shore crew members had been scouting in Sydney for weeks leading up to the commencement of filming for season six.

She said: “We have robust guidelines covering any involvement of members of the public in the filming process, designed to protect them and secure their full and informed consent. We don’t condone any behaviour that doesn’t adhere to these strict principles.”

Geordie Shore will film in Australia for around a month, with production based in Sydney for the majority of that time. The show’s Australian-based season will premiere in the UK over the summer.
