Moon Knight has been coming along since the 1970s in comic books but has actually never really been portrayed in film. Right now, MCU fans will get a deeper insight into the character that many doesn’t really know about.

Moon Knight officially premiered on Wednesday

According to the producer of the film, the fact that many did not know about the character actually played to their advantage. As they could take much more creative risks and turns.

“If you’re doing a Spider-Man movie, the fans know there has to be a Peter Parker,” Slater said. “But we really had a lot of latitude with Moon Knight.”

Like many Marvel films or series, many know about Spiderman and his origin story. But, not much is known about Moon Knight. So, this makes it very interesting to watch.

How many episodes are there and when will they be released?

The downside, however, is that viewers or fans of Moon Knight will only get one season. That has a total of six episodes. As for the release date of each episode, each of them will be released weekly on Disney+ and will end on May 4th.

So, right now, we aren’t guaranteed a second season at all. But, I don’t think we should cancel it out altogether as producers to have a change of heart sometimes.

According to The New York Times, the last episode, being episode 6 will tie in all of the loose ends to give a complete end to the miniseries. It is a shame that we will only get to see a limited amount of the character but who knows, Moon Knight might feature in a Marvel film sometime!
