After sharing that he feared his lungs would be affected because of Covid, Cody Simpson has swam to qualify for the common wealth games.

Cody Simpson is formerly known as a musician. After he decided that he would pursue his musical talents at the age of 13. Years ago, Cody decided that he would make a comeback to his swimming career. 

An exciting moment for Cody Simpson at the commonwealth games 

Right now, Cody exceeded his own expectations after he qualified for the commonwealth games while landing third place. 

As shared by Fox News, since Kyle Chalmers will not be competing in the world champions, Cody Simpson has earned his second spot to Budapest. 

In an interview after landing third place in the 100m butterfly race, Cody shared that he didn’t expect to do so well. He actually impressed himself by earning a top spot in the race.

“I didn’t even think I’d be remotely competitive until this year at the earliest, so to make the team is just a bonus on the way to Paris,”

Dreams coming to fruition

Just this weekend, Cody Simpson shared that he thought he was going to die from Covid-19. After being infected with it. Because of his health issues, Cody couldn’t train as much but that clearly didn’t stop him from doing his best. 

‘It hit me really hard – I was bedridden,’

Previously, the Daily Mail reported that Cody would be eyeing a spot at the commonwealth games. Now it seems his manifestation has come true regardless of coronavirus.
