Following the enormous success of their seventh chart topping album Stolen Diamonds which debuted top-twenty in sixteen countries around the world when released this year, Australia’s favourite good times band The Cat Empire returns north with an impressive array of dates confirmed for March next year in the UK.

The spring tour kicks off with a massive show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 12 March with tickets going on public sale this Friday at 10am.

There’s also an artisit pre-sale on Wednesday from 10am! To access the pre-sale, you will need to have signed up to the band’s website mailing list by end of day, Tuesday.

Having regularly played multiple night, sold out shows across the UK over the years at venues such as London’s Roundhouse and the prestigious Royal Albert Hall the band are keen to take their fans on a journey back to where it all began; playing the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in March 2020 followed by dates in Brighton, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Oxford before heading to Spain where they have crowds of devoted fans following their every move.

It would be an understatement to suggest the past 12-months have been particularly busy for The Cat Empire. Multiple sold out tours across Europe, The Americas and of course Australia; acclaimed side projects, grant collaborations and mentoring, all while releasing a song a month from across 2018/19, which drew ecstatic responses from fans and critics alike

It’s rumoured that the reason The Cat Empire headlines major festivals all over the world is because no band is brave enough to take the stage after them.Such is the power of their live show and world class musicianship, which sees their infectious,genre-embracing anthems sweep audiences into a dancing, singing frenzy of waving arms and smiling face.

If you have seen them before, you’ll know what we are talking about. If you haven’t, well it’s about time you did and found out what all the fuss is about.
