So, keen on learning how the Lantern Festival is celebrated? It actually does say a lot in the name itself. This festival is very much family orientated and is generally celebrated with families eating together.

The obvious and common activity associated with the Lantern Festival is to light a lantern. Some individuals might choose to light a lantern on many other occasions. But this tradition dates back to many years ago when people would pay respects to the Buddist God as reported by Tass.

Something cuter about this tradition is that the colorful lanterns are filled with some riddles. If one answers this correctly, the riddle solver will receive a small gift. Now, just as the world evolves so does the tradition.
