This week, the girls on the Love Island had the opportunity to choose their partners this time. But many were confused by Danica’s choice.

Love Island is set to get much more interesting after Danica chose Jay to recouple with this week. Since Jay recently shared he isn’t into Danica like that, viewers were a bit confused as to why he would be her choice.

Danica chooses Jay during recoupling

Right before the girls were to choose their guys, Antigoni and Danica had a little heart to heart about the guys. This time, Antigoni shared with Danica that she has no emotional chemsitry if any chemistry at all with Charlie.

During this conversation, Danica seemed to listen to what Antigoni was saying as her thoughts was that she would couple up with Jay when the time comes. When the time came, Love Island took a complete turn.

Unfortunately, Antigoni ended up having to recouple with Charlie. In which mind you, the poor girl has no chemistry with. However, Charlie might have put off the girls in an earlier challenge this week.

More temptation to come to Love Island as Casa Amor approaches

As for Jay, he recently shared with Danica that their age different is too big and that they wouldn’t really connect. To put it bluntly, Jay pretty much admitted that he wasn’t that into Danica. He even shared that he sees the most potential in Antigoni in the Love Island villa.

So, what is happening between the girls right now? Maybe a misunderstanding or someone is making things harder for everyone else in the villa.

According to the Radio Times, Casa Amor could be taking place as soon as next week. This comes as a reporter at ITV hinted at things changing very quickly in the coming days.

Now, perhaps it won’t matter that Danica chose Jay or if Antigoni is matched with Charlie right now as things might get much more trickier in the coming days. But, one question remains, will the couples remain strong on Love Island?

Love Island season 8 is released everyday on ITV at 9 pm.
