Ultimately, the band went through its Hey Day during the 80s and Alec John Such was part of five studio albums before he left the band in 1994.

“When I was 43, I started to get burned out. It felt like work, and I didn’t want to work. The reason I got into a band, to begin with is because I didn’t want to work.”

In 2018, Such reunited with the band when he was inducted into the rock hall of fame. He added of the band that “(I) love them to death. I always will.”

To date, Alec played a good part in the band’s success by featuring in five of their albums. These albums include Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, and Keep the Faith.
