Aussie top model’s racy Bras ‘N’ Things ad pulled for being overtly ‘sexualised’ [WATCH]

Australian model Simone Holtznagel says people offended by her Playboy underwear ad are "prudes" who need to find some "real porn" to watch.

Australian lingerie retailer Bras ‘N’ Things has been forced to pull a sexy advert after complaints that it was “demeaning” and amounted to “amature porn”.

The racy advert (above) stars former Australia’s Next Top Model contestant Simone Holtznagel modelling sexy Playboy underwear. Bras ‘N’ Things were playing the clip on large screens to attract the attention of shoppers outside walking by. They succeeded.

Acting on complaints recieved from some disgruntled members of the public, the Advertising Standards Bureau (ASB) ordered the shop to cease playing the provocative advert, deeming it overly “sexualised”.

According to 9 News, in the ASB report on the matter, one of the complaints read: “This was in an ordinary public place, with children and families there, why should they be confronted with it in a shopping mall. It was vulgar, unsuitable for the young and simply demeaning for any woman walking past.”

Another read: “They were not merely modelling the underwear, they were moving suggestively, gyrating and looking lasciviously at the camera – like a very amateur porn movie. It was a demeaning and embarrassing display.”

Ms Holtznagel was furious at the negative reception, taking to Instagram to let the “prudes” know exactly what she thought of them

“Shoutout to the prude who complained about my ‘vulgar’ ‘amateur porn’ advertisement,” she posted.

“Honestly, it’s just soooo offensive to show a confident, sexy WOMAN in her LINGERIE in the window of a (plot twist) – LINGERIE STORE!!!! Won’t somebody please think of the children?!”

“Keep your neuroses off my body and go watch some REAL porn, you might be less uptight,” she added.
