Where to vote: Australians can now vote by phone and post

Where to vote has been the constant question everyone has been asking about. Right now, the matter is actually resolved and Australians can now be at ease.

Australians worry about their votes

According to 7News, more than 200 000 Australians have tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, some have missed an opportunity to apply for a postal voting opportunity.

Just this morning, the AEC has expanded where to vote so that Australians may not miss out on an opportunity to vote. Of course, this would be disastrous but luckily this decision has been made.

Thus far, as much as 120 000 has been raised in funds so that Australians may have a clear idea of where to vote. Since many infected with covid would not have been able to vote, the government needed to act swiftly.

Recently, Teal contender Monique Ryan shared that 126 000 had been raised in funds for legal action regarding where to vote. Right now, the funds will be kept for legal action regarding the elections.

“In that event, we will donate any remaining funds to a charitable legal advocacy fund to keep fighting for all Australians’ ability to vote,”

Currently, many are encouraged to place their votes sooner rather than later. This comes as Aussies might wait a long time before their call is answered.
