New Year’s celebrations in Rio das Ostra in Brazil went up in smoke when this fireworks display got out of control.
Spectators ran screaming as the crackers took on a life of their own.
It was reported in local media that the display-gone-bezerk caused several fires and injured as many as 10 people who have thankfully all since been released from hospital.
