Taylor Swift to tour Australia in 2015

Taylor Swift will be touring Australia in December 2015 following success and acclaim for her new album, 1989.

The American pop singer is responsible for dominating Australian charts recently, with 1989 becoming Australia’s fastest selling album of 2014, toppling Coldplay’s Ghost Stories from the throne.

The 24-year-old, Grammy winning singer-songwriter’s new tour starts in North America before visiting Germany, the Netherlands, England and Scotland.

But Swift is making other music headlines after she pulled all her music from Spotify, the Internet’s most popular subscription service, with 40 million users around the world.  This came as Swift’s demand for none of her music to be available in free categories was denied by Spotify.

In reaction to  Swift’s decision to clear out from Spotify, the company said in a statement that Ms. Swift was welcome to return, but also defended their business model.

For something more upbeat enjoy this YouTube video of a duo called Superfruit singing all of Swift’s songs in just four minutes – and they can sing too!
