Sneakerboy is best known for popular brands such as Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. Lately, many unhappy customers have caused the business to make the decision to sell.

The retail company Sneakerboy goes under administration willingly

Thus far, the Sneakerboy store in Sydney has been closed down for quite some time. The retail store has around three stores left with one in Melbourne. To date, it is not clear how long some of these stores have been closed.

By next week, a meeting will be had with the creditors as the store faces an extreme backlog of orders and plenty of unhappy customers. Thus far, some customers have been waiting at least 6 months for their orders to arrive.

Right now, many customers have left some bad reviews on the company site as they await their orders or in some cases a refund.

Stephen Dixon to be the administrator

Despite having one store closed, Sneakerboy has been operational on its website. Allowing customers to place orders online and have them delivered. However, customers believe that their stores do not have any stock of what people have been ordering online.

So far, Sneakernboy has not been receiving any stock on certain items. But, the store still continues to advertise it on its website. Inevitably, this sent customers into a rage as they paid for orders that has never arrived.

According to the Daily Mail, the company’s google rating has dropped to 1.6 in ranking as infuriated customers ask for refunds. Right now, Sneakerboy not only has to deal with unhappy customers. But also with Adidas in which the company owes a significant amount of revenue.

Previously, the store held a surprise sale at one of their stores in which customers got up to 70 percent off. Customers were also able to purchase items at discounted prices sometime in June.

To date, Stephen Dixon will be the administrator of Sneakerboy until the talks about a new owner have been solidified.
