Rebel Wilson joins Night at the Museum 3 line-up

In the latest movie in the “Night at the Museum” series director and producer Shawn Levy will once again be assembling a stellar cast.

Joining the ranks is exciting Australian comedic actress, and MTV Award winner, Rebel Wilson and comedy genius British actor Ricky Gervais – seven-time BAFTA winner.

Following the success of the Night at the Museum 1 and 2, shot on location at the Washington DC Smithsonian Institute, the talented line up will see the return of Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan. But expect appearances by Bill Cosby, Mickey Rooney and Ben Kingsley too.

In the third instalment of this adventure comedy the characters find themselves at London’s British Museum where the cast meets Wilson who plays the hilarious night guard, Madeline Phelps.

Wilson grabbed the attention of international audiences when she was cast as the distasteful British roomie in the 2011 comedy ‘Bridesmaids’.  2012 was a busy year for her when starred in ‘What to Expect when you are Expecting’, ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’, ‘Bachelorette’, ‘Struck by Lighting’ and probably her most memorable role as Fat Amy in ‘Pitch Perfect’ opposite Anna Kendrick.

Fans can look forward to Wilson’s return to the big screen as Fat Amy in ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ set for release in 2015 and will also be working on the Dreamworks animation ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’.

According to IMDb.com Night at the Museum 3, a Century Fox production, is set for release in the US and UK on 19 December 2014.
