Hailey Bieber opens up about mini-stroke in March 2021

Hailey Bieber opted to share some details around a stroke she had in 2021. Months after sharing details around her marriage is off limits.

Hailey Bieber and her husband Justin Bieber have never shied away from sharing their struggles with different things. Just months ago, Hailey shared that she will not give any more details about her marriage to Justin. 

Hailey Bieber opens up to fans

Previously, Hailey relayed that she and her husband were facing some difficulties in the first year of their marriage. Hailey shared that she wanted to leave her marriage but ultimately stayed through advice given by her mother. 

Right now, Hailey Bieber is opting to share what she feels she would like to share and has given some insight into what has taken place in March 2021. 

Youtube video details her mini-stroke

In a video posted on Youtube, Hailey Bieber shared that she had suffered a mini-stroke in March. She added that she had been sitting at breakfast when she started feeling weird in her arm and fingers.

“I couldn’t speak, the right side of my face was drooping, I couldn’t get a sentence out.”

According to the Guardian, Hailey and Justin both thought she was having a stroke. That is after she couldn’t utter a word out of her mouth.

As she was treated at the hospital, doctors realized that Hailey had a hole in her heart in which a blood clot came through and went to her brain.

Since then Hailey Bieber had undergone surgery to close the hole in her heart and shared that she recovering well after her attack. She also gave insight into what could cause the stroke. 

Hailey pinned three factors her doctor said could be the cause. That is birth control, Covid, and a long flight. Each of these contributing factors could be the cause of her blood clot. 

“If there’s anybody that watches this that has gone through the same thing or something similar, I definitely really empathize with you.”
