Parental guidance features different groups of parents with different parenting styles. These styles vary from Helicopter, Tiger, Disciplined, Free Range, and Home School.
In the latest episode, we see just how much each of these parenting styles works and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
While boundaries are important, teaching your children essential life skills is just as important. In the stranger danger test, parents were given front row seats to the children’s response to a stranger asking for help or assistance.
During this time, parents were basically biting their nails at how their kids will handle the situation but the older siblings took a stand and showed just how much they care for their younger siblings.
After politely telling the stranger that they do not need any help, one of the children noted ‘I think she wanted to take us’. The parents were no doubt happy at how it panned out.
When it comes to matters of discipline, parenting expert relays that consequences are usually a sugar-coated word for punishment. Children under this type of discipline generally go on the path of disobedience through this.
One parent, in particular, found it disappointing that she couldn’t get her 17-year-old daughter to leave her device for 24 hours. She notes that she thought she had instilled enough boundaries but clearly has not.
While parental guidance is there to lead to a way for kids to one day lead a good life, some parents take a rain check on what needs to change this time around.
