Australian comedy special at The Good Ship in London

ONE of London’s best comedy venues, The Good Ship at Kilburn, are running Edinburgh Preview Shows throughout July and on Monday 16 July are hosting an all-Australian stand-up special, with Preview shows from three top Aussie comics. The night is set to be a hoot, and “amazingly funny” and “unmissable” are just a couple of terms being bandied about.

The Aussie “spectacular” will feature Celia Pacquola, Bec Hill and Yianni Agisilou at a venue that’s been deemed as “a treasure in North West London”. “Amazing comedy at unbeatable prices” is their claim and the Antipodean dream line-up features one of the hardest to spell names in comedy as well as a Russell Howard’s Good News regular.

Celia Pacquola – Delayed

The smallest thing can change a life. In 2010, the award-winning Aussie comic moved to London and learned the word ‘bellend’. This and other stories are to be expected in the hilarious Delayed.

Bec Hill Is more afraid of you than you are of her

With a string of YouTube hits and recently named as one of Time Out’s Top 5 Funniest Comedians on Twitter, Bec Hill is back with a brand new show all about her biggest fear: you.

Yianni Agisilou – Numb and Number

Hyperlogical comedian obsessed by numbers gets diagnosed mildly autistic aged 33.3 (recurring) and finally understands why! An irreverent hour of number-based, logic-fuelled absurdity. Don’t panic. No maths knowledge required!
