Global callout for Australian leaders and innovators living overseas

ADVANCE, Australia’s largest global community, has just launched a call for nominations for their 2014 Advance Global Australian Awards.

Now in its third year, the Awards recognise and celebrate Australians living overseas, who exhibit remarkable talent, exceptional vision and ambition. These are the only awards to recognise the important contributions of the more than one million innovative and inspirational Australians living and working abroad.

Each year category awards are presented to exceptional entrants from industries including advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, clean technology, creative industries, financial services, information and communication technologies (ICT), mining and resources and social innovation.

An overall winner is selected from winners of each category and a special Alumni Award is also presented to recognise the achievements of an alumnus of Australian university who is not an Australian citizen.

If you know a talented Aussie living and working overseas in one of the above industry categories, now is the chance to recognise them.

Advance are looking for exciting global Australian entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists, tinkerers and change makers. Most importantly, they’re looking for people with passion and a commitment to pushing the boundaries, no matter where they live in the world.

2014 Award nominations are open until 20 September 2013. To nominate, simply visit globalaustralianawards.com and complete the online form.

Award winners will be announced in March 2014 at the Advance Conference and Awards Ceremony in Sydney.
