Antipodean lawyers London networking group host Anzac Day events

A NEW social and networking group, “Australian & New Zealand Lawyers in London” has been established to help Australian and New Zealand lawyers working in London forge career connections beyond their firms or companies.

The group is hosting two events on 25 April for Anzac Day. They will be attending the Dawn Service at 5am at Hyde Park Corner, followed by breakfast at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane. There will be evening drinks from 6.30pm hosted at a wine bar in London. Please join the group on LinkedIn for more information on events and contact details for the day.

The group’s founder, Michelle Witton, is a dual Australian/UK qualified lawyer working inhouse at a FTSE-listed mining company.

“There’s a real need for Australian and New Zealand lawyers working in London network more and establish professional contacts which can be helpful in London and if we return to Australian or New Zealand,” said Michelle.

“There’s lots of enthusiasm for the group. It’ll be a social and networking community for antipodean lawyers working in London and a welcoming face for those coming to London.”

Australian & New Zealand Lawyers in London will hold a monthly networking drinks in central London, and occasional seminars and events. The group is sponsored by Taylor Root. Membership is free and through joining the group’s site on LinkedIn.
