Kate Moss and Johnny Depp go way back and what the model needed to do, is tell the truth to the world about what happened in Jamaica.

Model shares why she testified in court

As shared by Perth Now, Kate Moss testified that Johnny Depp did not push her down a staircase as Amber Heard had once assumed during the trial. The court heard that Johnny Depp actually assisted the model after she slipped down the stairs.

On their vacation, Kate Moss shared that it has been raining in Jamaica with Johnny having left the hotel room before she did. The model then concluded that she slipped down the stairs with the actor seeking medical attention for her.

Thus far, Kate told Lauren Laverne that she needed to share that truth and that she alone knows that truth.

“I know the truth about Johnny. I had to say that truth.”

Kate Moss clears up rumors about Jamaica

The model’s testimony comes as Amber Heard mentioned her during her testimony. In essence, this allowed Depp’s lawyers to bring in Kate Moss as a witness to the stand.

While appearing in court via a video link, Kate Moss testified that Johnny Depp did not push her downstairs on their vacation in Jamaica.

To date, Johnny Depp was awarded $10 million having won the defamation case. The actor also received $350 000 in punitive damages while Amber Heard received $2 million for defamation.

Right now, Amber Heard is filing to overturn the jury’s verdict on her case. Previously, the actress tried to prove that the jury reached the verdict in an unfair manner.

This comes as one of the juries was not part of the initial panel. Reports show that the person called for the jury was an older man and the son of the individual responded to the call instead.

As the judge shared, this was not enough for a retrial as Amber Heard initially hoped she would get. The actress is allegedly unable to pay Johnny Depp the money he was awarded by the court.

To date, Kate Moss and Johnny Depp were together for four years before they called it quits in their relationship. However, the pair have remained good friends.
