Rafael Nadal may or may not participate in the Wimbledon semi-finals after a harsh injury during his match with Taylor Fritz. However, the tennis player pushed through the game, ultimately making it worthwhile for himself.

Tennis player Rafael Nadal played despite his injury

Despite calls from his father to quit the match, Rafael continued to persevere through the match which landed him a place in the Wimbledon finals. That is, if he will play this Friday.

Thus far, Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios are set to play against one another on Friday night. But, Nadal’s injury might make it impossible to play in the semi-finals tomorrow night.

Right now, the match between Rafael Nadal and Nick has been a long-awaited one as the two are known rivals. Everyone knows, that Nick Kyrgios rubbed Nadal the wrong way when he won a match against the no. 1 seed back in 2014.

Nick Kyrgios could get a pass into the Wimbledon finals

According to Fox News, Nick Kyrgios was only 19 years old when he made a name for himself. But, the most infuriating thing for Nadal is most likely the style in which Kyrgios chooses to play against his opponent.

Previously, Rafael Nadal mentioned that Nick had no respect for the crowd, for himself and his opponent. This is undoubtedly through the underhanded serves Kyrgios gave Nadal during previous matches which were pretty much legal.
