Deborah James was first diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer back in 2016. However, this is not cut her life short as the Journalist and Podcast host did as much as she could in the days leading up to her death.

Journalist dies at 40 years old

Right now, the family has shared the last words of the late Journalist in which she shared some words of wisdom to her fans and the public alike.

“Find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally, check your poo – it could just save your life,”

According to 7News, Deborah James has been receiving end-of-life care at her home leading up to the days of her death. The podcaster was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 35 just days before Christmas in 2016.

Family gives their thanks to the public

Last month, Deborah James launched a bowel babe fundraiser for research on the illness. Thus far, the campaign has raised over $6 million for the research.
