Andrew Hornery has received extreme backlash after he posted a piece about Rebel Wilson beating him to share her relationship status. He has since deleted the column about the actress.

Journalist Andrew Hornery expresses disappointment in being unable to share Rebel’s relationship status

On Friday, Rebel Wilson shared that she was in a relationship. So far, the actress is in a relationship with fashion designer Ramona Agruma. After sharing that she was in a same-sex relationship on Instagram, Andrew Horner seemed to attack the actress. That is after she came out before he could share his article.

“In a perfect world, ‘outing’ same-sex celebrity relationships should be a redundant concept in 2022. Love is love, right?,” Hornery wrote in the article published on Saturday.

Thus far, 7News shares that Andrew Hornery continued to share that he emailed Rebel Wilson about her new relationship. In addition, the Journalist added that he had given the actress two days to respond to his query or he will go public with what he knows.

“So, it was with an abundance of caution and respect that this media outlet emailed Rebel Wilson’s representatives on Thursday morning, giving her two days to comment on her new relationship … Big mistake.

“Wilson opted to gazump the story, posting about her new ‘Disney Princess’ on Instagram early Friday morning.”

Fans and others come out in support of Rebel Wilson

So far, Andrew Hornery felt disappointed that Rebel Wilson shared the story herself. However, fans are noting that Rebel would not have shared her relationship with the public. Fans are now sharing their dislike with the news coming out before star would like to have shared it.
