Pizza Hut is one fond memory of many people living in Adelaide. As the franchise announced their leave, many flocked to their page to see if it was true.

Marion store closes after 44 years

After 44 years of operating in Adelaide, Pizza Hut will be closing its doors in the next three weeks. As a result, many South Australians are flocking to make last-minute bookings.

So far, Pizza Hut has been answering calls since 11 am this morning as frantic customers hope to have one last time at the restaurant before they officially close their doors.

According to The Advertiser, store owner Bill Liano feels that it’s just time to close. Right now, he’s not certain what he will do after the store closes. But, some new refurbishing in the area is said to have an impact on the business.

Thus far, around 33 part-time and casual staff will lose their jobs with others already securing jobs at other businesses.

Pizza Hut bookings available for the next three weeks

As the store closes on June 28th, the business is asking customers to take advantage of the three weeks that the business will be open. Around 200 people have already called by 1 pm to secure their spot.

While Pizza Hut Marion will close in Adelaide, there are a large number of stores that will still be open around the country. Currently, there are stores in Queensland, Sydney, and New South of Wales to name a few.
