Payne Haas demands immediate release from the Brisbane Bronco’s 

Payne Haas is currently in a dispute with the Brisbane Bronco’s as they refuse to give the forward a pay raise under his current contract.

Payne Haas demands immediate release from the Brisbane Bronco’s

Payne Haas is currently unhappy with his current contract conditions. As a result, the prop has demanded that he be immediately released from the Brisbane Broncos. 

Right now, Payne has tried to negotiate that his contract be upgraded to $1 million a month. Thus far, his contract stands at $800 000 a month. So far, the player is unhappy with this agreement. 

The Broncos are not entertaining the release of Payne Haas

In addition, the player is also in a dispute with his former manager as he is still under the obligation to pay him commission until the end of his contract in 2024. 

According to ABC News, the Brisbane Bronco’s are not entertaining any immediate release right now. Quite frankly, the club is considering extending the contract of Payne Haas right now. 

“Payne Haas is contracted to the Brisbane Broncos until the end of the 2024 NRL Season. The Club will not be entertaining a release,”

Broncos cannot afford an upgrade right now

Thus far, Payne Haas was offered $6 million at some point. This would have made him the richest forward in the NRL. However, the 22-year-old has not taken this offer. 

Presently, Brisbane Bronco’s and Haas along with management are in talks to solve the dispute. Simultaneously, Haasis dealing with a court case involving his former manager Chris Orr.

So far, the forward has quite the track record when it comes to being disciplined. Regarding his contract, Payne Haas believes that he is being underpaid. Tomorrow, he is expected to be selected to play against the Titans but with the ongoing dispute, it is touch and go.
