If you are yet to watch the film, it centers around the life of Tammy Faye. She was caught in a swirl of public humiliation after her husband’s conviction for fraud as well as public sex scandals.

In her acceptance speech, Jessica Chastain opened up about the number of deaths as a result of suicide in America, She also voiced some of Tammy Faye’s concerns for the LGBTQ+ community.

“In times like this, I think of Tammy, and I’m inspired by her radical acts of love.”
