Russia Ukraine war: Putin’s justification for the war on Ukraine

Russia-Ukraine war is the one consistent thing everyone has been talking about so far and with reason. Right now, Ukraine has been suffering immensely under Russia’s wrath and Russia does not intend to stop anytime soon.

Russia continues to break down Ukraine

Presently, President Zelensky has relayed the country is at the level of dire threat as Russian forces continue to destroy and kill thousands of innocent civilians. According to The Guardian, Russian forces have disconnected the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from the grid.

While the nuclear plant has been disconnected by Russia, Ukrainians face a big chance of genocide. As has already started happening.  Zelensky has since been giving daily televised addresses. He relayed that the international community would ultimately be responsible for the detriment of Ukraine.

Currently, Zelensky is asking the international community to declare a no-fly zone over Ukraine. To date, two million people have already fled Ukraine as a result of the war Russia waged on Ukraine.

Putin’s motivations for war on Ukraine

As previously reported, Putin’s motivations for waging war on Ukraine is purely based on beliefs that Ukraine is in some way in cahoots with the Nazi. With this, the aims remove or wipe out the Nazi ideology as well as demilitarize Ukraine.

In other news, Russia also believes that Ukraine has committed genocide on its people in the region of Donetsk. This allegedly happened in 2014. Back then and right now, Putin does not have any evidence that this was actually the case.

However, as reported by Aljazeera, the fact that the mass deaths have not been reported by any media outlet is rather strange. Russia should have provided evidence that this is exactly what happened.

In actual fact, Russia is only doing the exact same thing they accuse Ukraine of doing. This will surely not sit well in the future. This is all kinds of terrible given there isn’t any concrete evidence of genocide.
