Miss USA 2019, Cheslie Kryst was both a lawyer and a beauty queen. She cared deeply about making the lives of others better. This she did through her education and has since made a big impact on the world.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, New York police discovered a body that appeared to have fallen from a 60 story building. They confirmed that the body was indeed Cheslie Kryst and simultaneously noted that she died on the scene.

Presently, the NYPD stated that the predicament does look like suicide but more information is yet to be found about her tragic death. While police are still trying to confirm whether it was suicide or not, Cheslie Kryst did leave a note explaining that she wants to leave everything to her mother. The note, however, does not give reasons for her actions.

In her many appearances, Cheslie Kryst opened up about mental health issues and explained what she does to be healthy and mentally fit. According to news.com.au, there are three things she did to be mentally fit.

“Number one, I try to set a regular schedule, so my alarm rings every day at 6.45, I know that I’m getting up and I’m starting my day. Two, I try to set very clear boundaries, so even though I know I’m at home and I’ve got my computer and my phone with me, I’m done answering emails at six o’clock, I’m not responding to messages, it’s over. That helps me a lot. Three, I have a regular workout schedule that keeps my body healthy and my mind sharp.”

Pageantry and Justice

According to previous reports, Cheslie Kryst felt inspired to do the beauty pageant because of her mother. She relayed that she remembers going with her mother to appearances after she had won the Mrs. North Carolina title. Cheslie would then go on to try the pageant five times before she eventually won the Miss North Carolina title.  She then went on to pursue the Miss Universe title.

With her fame, Cheslie Kryst would then use her platform to make many issues known. One prisoner named Alice has since been released through her help. She was very committed to getting justice for those who have been unfairly sentenced.

The family has asked the media to respect their privacy during this time of bereavement.
