Gold Film: Zac Efron went through the most while filming the movie

Gold is one of the new films available for Aussies to watch this time around. The film is really something to watch, but let’s get into why the film is a must-see.

Imagine finding Gold in the middle of nowhere with someone you barely know. You want the gold out of the ground but cannot do it with your bare hands. Now, you need to get something to help get it out and the two of you need to decide who will be staying with the gold. That person in the film is Zac Efron.

While waiting for his newly made friend,  Zac undergoes some hardship as he has to withstand harsh heat conditions in the dessert as well as run out of one essential thing, water! Little does he know that he will have other obstacles in his way.

Zac guards the gold with his life

Someone else finds Zac in the desert and really starts to wonder why he is alone in the desert. This person, played by Suzie Porter, becomes suspicious of the reason why he is so driven and committed to staying in the desert alone. She soon finds that he is hiding something and wants to know what it is.

More: Grace Tame was not impressed with Scott Morrison in a recent exchange

Now, how far will one go to actually claim the gold for oneself? Well, Zac guards his gold with his whole life as he even begins to develop puss-like sores on his body through the heat conditions he chose to stay in.

The trailer shows Zac taking an abandoned plane a living in it until his friend comes back. How long he takes is really not evident in the trailer but I’m sure this is something you would like to find out yourself.

Zac Efron broke his hand while filming

When I say that Zac went through most while filming, I literally mean he went through the most. Zac Efron actually broke his hand on set but persevere through filming like the sport he is. His co-star Suzie Porter opened up about what a great person he is and how much he had gone through on set.

So, if you’re in the mood for a tense film that’ll keep you in suspense, have a go at gold! The film is available to watch on Stan.
