Adele sat down with Oprah in her recent interview to talk about all things new and old in her life.

The singer is set to release her new album titled 30 on the 19th November 2021. She noted that the album encapsulates everything she went through while she took a break from recording.

It seems that the singer records her best hits when she goes through her worst times and creates a beautiful melody for others to be inspired by.

While chatting with Oprah about her life, Adele relayed that she felt ’embarrassed that her marriage lasted for such a short time. She continued to say that she gave it her all to make it work but she was just very unhappy.

One of the reasons why she said she stayed in her marriage was through the fact that she was obsessed with the idea of a nuclear family since her father had left when she was only two years old.

After being estranged from her father for years, Adele finally reconciled with her him when he became very ill. She told Oprah that her father had listened to one of her albums over zoom before he died and that it was very ‘healing’ for her.

Among other things, Adele said that during her divorce she suffered a lot of panic attacks which has as a result caused her to lose 100 pounds in two years.
