Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber first met in 2014 and then reunited in 2018. Months later the couple secretly eloped.

Early marriage problems

In the first year of their marriage, Hailey Baldwin felt it difficult to cope with the problems Justin Bieber faced. She reveals that she wanted to leave her marriage as she could not see herself repeating the cycle for years to come.

While she notes it is empowering to move into her own home and be independent she says that the first person she called in her struggles was her mother, who calmly spoke to her.

Hailey’s support system

During the call with her mother, she revealed that her mother had convinced her to stay with her husband and that it will pass.

Her husband, the famous Baby hitmaker, catapulted into fame at a very young age and as a result, turned to heavy drugs to cope.

Since then, the star has been in the spotlight and affected his health which in turn worsened his anxiety levels.

Hailey supports Justin no matter what

At another point in her interview, Hailey notes that she feels people were mean during this time of struggle as everyone commented on the way Justin looked while suffering from Lyme disease complications.

“It was hard because everybody from the outside was being super mean and judgmental, saying he looked like he was on drugs, saying how unhealthy he looked when in truth, he was not healthy and we didn‘t know why,”

Going stronger than ever

While Hailey felt she wanted to throw in the towel, she vowed not to give up on Justin in his dire time of need. She further shared that if it were not for the faith and spirituality that they share, they would not have been together.
