Following the spread of the fire to a large amount of ground, it highlights the immense scale of the situation and emphasizes this through the dominance of the orange on screen.
Furthermore, we will see much more of the predicaments we might not have come to see through words. This is where Fires uses visual art to describe events and convey them in ways that would not be seen effectively through other means.
