The John Butler Trio hit the UK this month with shows in Manchester, Exeter, Bristol and London.
This time though it’s John Butler Trio+, now a five-piece for a new live format in support of the new studio album Home.

Revered for their superb musicianship and brilliant live performances, the John Butler Trio are one of Australia’s best and most celebrated live acts.
Following a hugesy successful tour of Australia showcasing the new live format and having completed a North American jaunt earlier this year, JBT will this month be treating UK audiences to a bigger and more dynamic live show with additional percussion and keys, capturing tunes from the new album as well as reinventing classics such as ‘Betterman’, ‘Zebra’ and ‘What You Want’.
JBT’s new studio album, Home, the first since 2014’s ARIA award-winning Flesh + Blood, is a highly personal creation with songs reflecting thoughts on family, travel, home and global issues.
“This album has been a rite of passage that I couldn’t go around, couldn’t go over, couldn’t go under but had to go through,” said John Butler.
