These stunning photographs celebrating the beauty of our seas were released this month by Red Bull as part of “World Oceans Day” (8th of June, to be exact).
The initiative aims to highlight the wonder of the seven seas and foster collaboration for their conservation and a better future.

The eight athletes battled each other as well as the harsh conditions of Southland across eight events With the final discipline of the 2017 Ultimate Waterman taking place today April 9. The eight athletes competed in the OC1 Waka Ama Canoe race over 16 kilometres from Southland’s Colac Bay to Riverton. The event was won by Australias Jackson Maynard with Hawaiian Zane Schweitzer taking the overall title for 2017.
