Central Coast winter wonderland after severe hail storm

Hail stones as big as cricket balls pound the NSW coast, covering towns and beaches in white.

The Central Coast of New South Wales was a blanket of white on Thursday after severe weather battered the region.

Residents reported hail stones up to the size of golf balls and even cricket balls as the weather system passed through, turning streets and even beaches into a winter wonderland.

While some struggled on treacherous roads others took to skiing, sledding, making snow angels and building a snowman.
