A London memorial service for Gough Whitlam, who passed away in October, will be held at Australia House on Monday, 8 December.
The Hon Alexander Downer AC, High Commissioner for Australia to the UK, welcomes all well-wishers to attend the service for the former Australian Prime minister, which will run from 6.00pm – 7.00pm (Arrivals from 5.30pm to be seated promptly by 5.55pm).

Be aware that entrance to the Australian High Commission will require a brief security check.
Where possible, you are asked to avoid bringing large bags/suitcases into the building and, whilst there will be cloakroom facilities, to keep all personal belongings to a minimum. This will reduce the waiting time to enter Australia House.
